TCS Bands Released for FY 2021-22 l Work from office News for TCS Employees

Tata Consultancy services , who attrition rated rose to 17% towards the end of 2021 , announced Salary Hikes for it's over 5 lakh Employees on Friday Evening.


Tata Consultancy CEO Rajesh Gopinathan , while Announcing Earning updates in April stated that they are looking to provide similar hikes as was given in Financial Year 2020-2021 but towards upwards bias,

Because of this statement by Tata consultancy CEO  Rajesh Gopinathan , there was speculation in the News that because of such higher attrition rates , TCS will be looking to provide hikes which are not usual i.e this time employees are expected to receive higher salary hikes.

Appraisal Platform Speed Goes down after Band Release :

As soon as Bands were released , The performance management platform Speed saw a huge increase in  the number of users accessing it at the same time , resulting into a crash . 

The performance management platform Speed was not accessible even after a couple of hours of Band release.

Annual Appraisal / Hike System in TCS:

Tata Consultancy Services usually provides Hikes in three bands , namely A , B and C . A band is expected to get hike around 8-10% , B band is expected to get hike around 6-8% and C band is expected to get hike around 5-7%.

Since Tata consultancy Services made a huge profit in Financial Year 2021-22 , therefore it is expected that these hike percentages might go up by a factor of maybe a couple percentage.

Work From Office News for TCS Employees :

While announcing Earning updates in April , Tata Consultancy CEO , Rajesh Gopinathan also stated that they are looking to bring employees back to office as well . It was also stated that most of the senior Employees have started working from office , twice a week and they are looking to increase the head count at office gradually , meaning that junior staff will also continue to work from office in near future.
